About this site...

Moon Station Foxtrot is a site I created for my friends and family in America and around the world to keep up with my life in Japan. Since starting it, I've found that a few strangers are checking my site as well, and that's pretty exciting stuff. I'm happy for anyone to look and comment. My name is Matt. I live in Osaka, Japan with my wife Kumiko. I've been here for 6 years. The site is basically a semi-daily journal, and lots of photographs, which I love. One of my readers requested an introduction page like this, so here it is. I'm 33, work as a teacher, love photography, Agatha Christie, Sir David Attenborough, Anita O'Day, cats, Charlie Chan, The Three Stooges, scotch whiskey, tacos, and old-tech. I dislike chewing gum and the sound of gas generators, vacuum cleaners and paper shredders. My dream is to be a professional photographer/jazz singer/self-sufficient farmer.
